Labels Programs
Jackson Elementary participates in three excellent programs to help raise money and supplies for our school. They are Box Tops for Education, Campbell?s Labels for Education and Tyson Project A+. Here is a brief description of each and how the school benefits.
Box Tops For Education
With this program we collect the Box Tops label off participating products. We receive 10? for every label (with some special promotion labels worth more) we turn in. They must have a current expiration date on them to be turned in and counted. The school receives a check twice a year to spend on whatever it needs.
We earned $415 for the 2008-2009 school year! We’ve turned in over $150 worth of box tops so far for the 2009-2010 school year. The btfe.com website should reflect these earnings sometime in November.
Box Tops offers many ways to earn cash for our school through everyday activities such as buying groceries, shopping online and purchasing books. One of the easiest ways you can help is to sign up to support our school at www.btfe.com. You will learn about new and easy ways to help our school earn the extra cash it needs.
Campbell?s Labels for Education
With this program we collect the UPCs and beverage caps only off various Campbell?s and other participating company?s products. UPC?s and caps are worth 1 or 5 points (with some special ones worth 100 points special promotions). Point value noted by UPC. These do not have expiration dates, with the exception of bonus certificates. We must have 51% of the UPC to turn it in and be counted. The UPC or points are turned in for an item out of Campbell?s reward catalog. You can also go to www.labelsforeducation.com to make a pledge for the school.
Tyson Foods
With this program, simply clip and save the entire ?Support Your School!? label off participating Tyson products. The school receives 24? for every label turned in, but we must turn in 100 labels at a time. Then, the school receives a check to spend on whatever it needs. These labels do not have expiration dates.
Let?s support our school! Clip and save your labels today! If you would like more information about any of these programs, please contact Label Coordinator Kim Schwerdtfeger at 258-1779 or e-mail kschwerdtfeger@usd259.net.
